When can we register for Summer Youth Theater camp ?
Registration for Summer Youth Theater Camps open in February or March each year. Join our Facebook Page, Instagram and/or Group Me Community to get updates and notifications.
What is the age range for the Summer Youth Theater Camp?
Our summer intensive programs are designed for youth ages 10 to 18.
Do I need previous experience to audition for STC productions or Youth Camps?
No previous experience is required! We encourage anyone in the community with an interest in theater to join us. We provide training for all levels of experience.
Where are performances held?
Because we do not have our own facility we rely on the use of public spaces in Sanpete County including city buildings and schools. Because of our collaborative efforts, our most recent productions have been produced and performed at Fairview Peterson Dance Hall and Manti High School. We hope to be able to provide opportunities at other locations throughout the county in the future as well.
What does Summer Theater Camp cost?
In the past, because of a grant and our partnership with Ephraim City, we were able to provide Summer Theater Camp at a highly discounted rate. That particular grant partnership is no longer available. We are working hard to seek out other grants and funding to make these opportunities accessible and affordable for families in the area. Fees will range between $200-300 per participant. As we are able to bring in more donations, we hope to reduce the cost.
How can I get involved ?
There are many ways to get involved with STC from serving on the board, helping with fundraising, joining a production team or volunteering backstage for a performance. Contact us if you'd like more information about how you can become part of the STC Team!
Does STC offer theater opportunities for adults?
As we grow, we hope to offer more community theater opportunities for all ages. September 2026 we are bringing our first collaborative community production to the Eva Beal stage in Manti with the musical Next to Normal. This production is in collaboration with local Snow College theater students and graduates. It is directed by Soibi Ross.
