When can we register for Summer Youth Theater camp 2026 ?
Registration will open March 1st 2026. Join our Facebook Page and/or Group Me Community to get updates and notifications.
What is the age range for the Summer Youth Theater Camp?
Our summer intensive programs are designed for youth ages 10 to 18.
Do I need previous experience to audition?
No previous experience is required! We encourage anyone in the community with an interest in theater to join us. We provide training for all levels of experience.
Where are performances held?
Because we do not have our own facility we rely on the use of public spaces in Sanpete County including city buildings and schools. Because of our collaborative efforts, our most recent productions have been produced and performed at Fairview Peterson Dance Hall and Manti High School. This years camp will also be hosted at Manti High School. We hope to be able to provide opportunities at other locations throughout the county in the future.
What does Summer Theater Camp cost?
In the past, because of a grant and our partnership with Ephraim City, we were able to provide Summer Theater Camp at a highly discounted rate. That particular grant partnership is no longer available. We are working hard to seek out other grants and funding to make these opportunities accessible and affordable for families in the area. However, this year the expenses of the production will mostly come from registration fees so participation will cost about $200 per participant. As we are able to bring in more donations and sponsors that cost will go down.
How can I get involved ?
There are many ways to get involved with STC from serving on the board, helping with fundraising, joining a production team or volunteering backstage for a performance. Contact us if you'd like more information about how you can become part of the STC Team!
Does STC offer theater opportunities for adults?
We hope as we grow we will be able to offer more community theater opportunities for all ages, however we currently only offer our Summer Youth Theater Camp the first two weeks of June.
